Responsibilities may include:
- Orientation, training and coordination of all ViaQuest Hospice volunteers.
- Coordination of the ViaQuest Hospice volunteer program.
- Plan and conduct volunteer support meetings.
- Maintaining detailed documentation.
- Plan and supervise delivery of all volunteer services.
- Assign volunteers to service on the basis of program needs and the volunteer’s interests and skills.
- Assess and monitor a record-keeping system which includes services delivered and time involved.
Requirements for this position include:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in volunteer activity and a related field.
- Management/supervisory experience is preferred.
