Volunteer Coordinator

Responsibilities may include:

  • Orientation, training and coordination of all ViaQuest Hospice volunteers.
  • Coordination of the ViaQuest Hospice volunteer program.
  • Plan and conduct volunteer support meetings.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Plan and supervise delivery of all volunteer services.
  • Assign volunteers to service on the basis of program needs and the volunteer’s interests and skills.
  • Assess and monitor a record-keeping system which includes services delivered and time involved.

Requirements for this position include:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in volunteer activity and a related field.
  • Management/supervisory experience is preferred.
